It’s hard to believe that we are rapidly approaching the end of 2017 and preparing to celebrate the holidays.

Last month we formally launched the New West Progressive Electors Coalition and we’ve had a tremendous response from the public. The new video we launched has had over 6,200 views on Facebook and YouTube in a little over a month! If you haven’t see it yet, be sure to click on the image below.

As Chair of our Steering Committee, I’m honoured to be working with such a great group of committed volunteers who want to bring new ideas and a balanced approach back to city hall in 2018. We’re currently in the midst of establishing a formal non-profit society and hope to launch it in early January.

The goal of our new society will be to attract a diverse group of residents from across our community who are willing to put their name on the 2018 civic ballot in order to develop new, positive ideas that will make our community an even better place to live, work and play. We’re hoping to run a candidate for Mayor as well as a slate of candidates for both council and school board.┬áIf you are interested in volunteering your time, making a donation or hosting an event, be sure to contact us today!

On behalf of the New West Progressives, I want to wish you and your family all the best of the season and look forward to making New Westminster an even better place to live, work and play in 2018!

Sincerely,

Daniel Fontaine
