This is the first time the New West Progressives (NWP) will run a mayoral candidate and we\’re excited about giving you the opportunity to meet him. He\’s a long-time resident of our city and is committed to making New Westminster an even better place to live, work and play!

To learn more about who will lead our NWP team into the 2022 election on October 15th, tune in to our Facebook page at 9 am on Wednesday. Due to the limitations on indoor gatherings, we\’ve chosen to do the big reveal online so everyone can participate in this virtual event.
In the next month we will begin announcing several of our council and school trustee candidates as well. If you\’re interested in running with our team, there is still time to submit your application through to February 28th. Just send us an email at info@nwprogressives.ca.
As you know, running a strong campaign will require both volunteers and adequate funds. That\’s why we\’re hoping you will take a moment after meeting our mayoral candidate to make a donation in support of the NWP. You can click on this link to make an online donation today. Every dollar will count as we are going up against a slate of candidates with a big machine endorsed by the local District Labour Council.
Lastly, we\’ll be organizing some online policy forums and townhalls over the coming months. Check our website and social media channels to learn more about those upcoming events.
