If you live in the Sapperton district of New Westminster you will want to mark March 8th down on your calendar. That\’s the date set for our next Neighbourhood Networking Night which will take place from 7-9 pm.
\”We\’re hoping to get a good crowd out for our next networking night,\” says Danielle Connelly, Vice-President of the NW Progressives (NWP) and long-time Sapperton resident. \”We had over 100 people attend our first two events and there was a great level of interest and engagement.\”
It is free to attend the networking night, but space is limited. All members of the NW Progressive team will be on-hand to meet and greet guests and to answer any questions people might have about our plans for the upcoming civic election being held on Oct 25th.
\”Our intention is to host at least one of these Neighbourhood Networking nights in every corner of the city before this fall,\” says Daniel Fontaine, President of NWP. \”The fact that our grassroots movement has been able to attract as many citizens as we have so far is a testimony to the fact people are looking for change, for more balance and new ideas at city hall and the school board.\”
Light appetizers and beverages will be served.
